I'm A Celebrity's Vicky Pattison reckons this year's UK-based series will be "really hard" compared to when it typically takes place in Australia.

The reality star, who won the series back in 2015, says she thinks it's "incredibly admirable" that ITV has managed to work out a way to do the show despite all of the restrictions put in place due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Vicky Pattison begs fans not to 'feel inadequate' and compare themselves to others on social media EXCLUSIVE: Vicky Pattison has urged people not to let social media make them 'feel inadequate' while discussing the potential of a second lockdown. The stunning star, 32, who recently enjoyed a trip to the Lake District with boyfriend Ercan Ramadan, spoke exclusively to OK! Online about the impact social media has on us.

In reference to it swapping a camp in the jungle for a castle in Wales, Pattison argued that "it doesn't matter where it is" because hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, as well as audiences seeing famous faces pushed to their limits, make it what it is anyway.

"Seeing celebs scream, seeing them test their mettle, watching people come out the other side of something difficult and feel really proud of themselves," she explained to Metro. "That feel good factor will still be there, no matter where it is. I just think they're going to be in for a lot more sheep testicles."

Get Me Out of Here's brand new location for its 2020 series, but former contestant and Coronation Street star Jennie McAlpine would have much preferred this year's camp.

Elsewhere in the interview, Pattison recalled how the sun and warm weather down under would bring comfort to her and her fellow campmates if they found themselves feeling strained by the competition – something that definitely won't be the case during November and December in the Valleys.

"I do think they're going to find that really hard. It's just going to add another dynamic to it. I think I would struggle, because you fire yourself up. You get all excited that you're going to be in the jungle shower, and in the famous camp," she said.

"Now it is going to be really different. But on the plus side, they're the first to ever do this, they're paving the way for something new. It's going to be exciting. I'll be glued."

I'm a Celebrity will return later this year on ITV.
