She recently revealed on Diane Von Furstenberg's podcast, InCharge with DVF, that her children had wondered why she doesn't have a boyfriend.
Charlize Theron: My daughters are powerhouses
Charlize Theron has praised her daughters as "beautiful powerhouses", as she marks National Daughters Day.The 45-year-old actress is mother to two adopted children, eight-year-old Jackson and five-year-old August, and has heaped praise on the youngsters in celebration of National Daughters Day on Friday (25.09.20).

Charlize insisted: "This idea that somehow women fail when they're not in relationships or that somehow it's their fault, that they must be incredibly difficult – that's why no man wants to touch them."
She continued: "Those are all constructs that we need to change."
Jackson and August look incredibly happy
Charlize has also shared details of Jackson's gender too, revealing he was born a boy, but told her five years ago that she is a girl.
"Yes, I thought she was a boy, too," the Atomic Blonde star told The Daily Mail.
"Until she looked at me when she was three-years-old and said, 'I am not a boy!'

She added: "My job as a parent is to celebrate them and to love them and to make sure that they have everything they need in order to be what they want to be, and I will do everything in my power for my kids to have that right and to be protected within that."
