Gwen Stefani's youngest son, Apollo, made a rare appearance on his mum's Instagram on Thursday and he is absolutely adorable.

The sweet six-year-old posed with his famous mother for the photo which was taken using a heart filter.

Gwen, 50, was leaning in close for the selfie and Apollo flashed a smile as he gently twiddled his mum's hair.

When he couldn't be with them due to travel restrictions during the peak of the coronavirus pandemic he revealed in an interview with Trunk Nation: "I miss them and they should be back. I haven't had them for ten days, eleven days and that's a long time.

"Normally I have them every five days. At first, it was like, cool, you can be super selfish, play that guitar more. But now, I'm like, I kind of prefer it when they're around, actually."
