Entertainment Hollyoaks' Theresa McQueen to return next week

Hollyoaks will welcome back Theresa McQueen next week, just in time for her family's latest ordeal.

As first confirmed earlier last month, Jorgie Porter is reprising her role as fan favourite Theresa after a four-year break.

Theresa's comeback will coincide with a sinister new storyline which sees the McQueen family get blackmailed by a mystery figure.

Hollyoaks spoilers follow. Hollyoaks is back with a bang next week , with a huge new mystery reverberating through the village. As the village residents are questioned in present day, flashback scenes to Scott and Mitchell's wedding offer an insight into some shocking developments that unfolded.

Hollyoaks reveals next week ’s classic Hollyoaks favourites episodes ( 29 April - 1 May 2020 ).

Speaking about Theresa's return, Jorgie said: "Coming back felt just like home and as if I haven't even been away for five minutes.

"Everyone's still the same and they're all amazing and inviting. I've been on set a few times now and I've had the best time and Theresa has literally jumped right back in to my body and my mind as if she's never left."

Hollyoaks currently airs new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4. Classic episodes, titled Hollyoaks Favourites, air on Fridays at 7pm on E4.
