Her post has since made the rounds online after Boss Logic shared the art and captioned it "Hope never left" along with the hashtag #superman and tagged the actor himself.

Henry Cavill might be busy as The Witcher's Geralt at the moment, but the actor has taken some time to reflect on his stint as Superman in the divisive Justice League movie.

Cavill – who's also currently giving his take on Sherlock in Netflix's Enola Holmes – looked back on the "super awkward" Justice League press tour in a recent podcast, acknowledging that it was a "weird situation".

Speaking to Empire, the actor recalled his confusing presence on the 2017 press tour, explaining: "No-one really knew what they wanted.

Although everybody soon realised that Henry's Superman would be making an appearance in Justice League, he was sworn to secrecy in what eventually became an "impossible scenario".

"I was like, 'OK, well, it's going to be super awkward for me, guys. Thank you for giving me an impossible scenario,'" he said. "I'm just going to say to people, 'Well, yeah, I was here for moral support. I made the tea.'"

Tea-making is a very important job, mind.

Speaking of Superman, last month Cavill was forced to deny claims that Warner Bros would be bringing him back along with Ben Affleck, Ray Fisher and Gal Gadot for a week of filming to complete the Zack Snyder cut for the director.

When presented with the reports, Clark Kent himself insisted he was "not shooting anything additional". He added: "It's all stuff that has been already done."

The Witcher is now streaming worldwide on Netflix.
