Emmerdale's Dingle family try to fight back against Jamie Tate next week as Belle faces an uncertain future.

Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) has just been charged with various crimes after Jamie successfully framed her for the hit and run which nearly killed Moira.

In Monday's episode (October 19), Belle is released from the police cells after an overnight stay, but her family are terrified about the possibility that she'll soon be going to jail.

The Dingles all speculate over the identity of the mystery witness, who claims to have seen Belle acting suspiciously with Jamie's car around the time of the accident.

When Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Moira (Natalie J Robb) next see Jamie in the street, they angrily confront him and another argument follows.

Moira tries to stop Cain from going too far and ultimately leads him away from the row.

Fortunately, Moira isn't giving up on the fight against Jamie either, speculating that he may have left a loose piece of evidence lying around at Home Farm.

Emmerdale bosses have confirmed that next week's episodes also see Belle's nephew Nate Robinson consider taking the blame for the hit and run to save Belle from a prison sentence.

Jurell Carter, who plays Nate, recently explained: "Nate is thinking very quickly, but it's out of the pureness of his heart. He's acting very selflessly in terms of helping Belle out, but quite selfishly in the respect that he's putting Tracy and the baby to the back of his head."

Emmerdale continues on Monday at 7pm on ITV.
