The MCU is set to collide with the world first imagined by Ridley Scott in 1979 in the so-called 'Marvel vs. Alien' variants, which will run from January next year.

The iconic Alien xenomorphs will cross over into covers for series including Captain Marvel, Daredevil, Fantastic Four, Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor and X-Men.

Despite 18 of the covers recently being revealed, there aren't currently plans for a narrative crossover between the two franchises.

The homage covers see Iron Man, Venom, Spider-Man, Captain America and The Hulk all doing battle with the xenomorphs.

One of the covers even sees Thor landing a blow to a xenomorph with Mjölnir.
