Called Black British Stories, the series honours ‘Black British voices behind and in front of the screen, characters old and new, and stories that have influenced an industry.
has released the trailer for George Clooney's new movie and confirmed it'll arrive just in time for Christmas on December 23.
Based on the novelby Lily Brooks-Dalton and directed by Clooney himself, the movie follows a NASA crew in 2049 who upon discovering a habitable moon around Jupiter, learn the Earth has suffered a global catastrophe.
Clooney plays Arctic scientist and one of Earth's sole survivors, Augustine, who encourages the crew not to return to the doomed planet.

The Midnight Sky will be released on Netflix on December 23, likely hoping to be a-sized success for the streaming giant as it arrived just ahead of Christmas too.
The Midnight Sky also stars Felicity Jones, David Oyelowo,actress Sophie Rundle and Friday Night Lights star Kyle Chandler, as well as introducing Caoilinn Springall in her first movie role.
's Felicity Jones plays NASA crew leader Sully in the film, with her at the last minute.
"The first thing we tried to do was shoot her and just do head replacement. Meaning we shoot each scene with her three times: once with her, once with a body double, and once with nothing in it," Clooney explained.

"Then it was really simply sitting down and going, 'Okay, so, you know, people have sex! They're going to be in space for a long time and she's pregnant'. I think it ends up adding to the story, in a way. It makes it kind of beautiful by the end."
The Midnight Sky will be released on Netflix on December 23.
