The queen took part in season 11 of the show, and claimed the crown after impressing with her quirky fashion sense and incredible lip-syncing skills.

Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy, Yvie revealed what surprised her most about her time on the show.

"Reality. Trying to find reality in reality TV," she said.

"It was a very real experience but it's strange because when an experiment is being observed it changes the outcome of that experiment, and that's so much more true in the case of experiments being human beings and how we react.

Yvie added: "I don't think there was any part of me that was left out of the show, it's just in that competition environment with so many people that didn't necessarily understand me, I left my fun side at home.

"I left out some of the goofier, sillier bits of the person who isn't always arguing.

"If I didn't win, I still wouldn't regret it because I think people need to face the issues in their life."

She added: "I don't go around yelling at everyone and critiquing everything I see around me, however I don't beat around the bush and I refuse to be inauthentic if that's at all possible.

Yvie is currently celebrating spooky season by leading a limited-run of pumpkin-carving masterclasses with Culture Trip.

Fans can join Yvie in a virtual class to learn some skills to celebrate the Halloween season.

"I just really wanted to be a part of something that can still help people celebrate and get in the spirit of Halloween and nothing does that quite like a pumpkin-carving party," she said.

"Even though we're staying socially distant this year, I thought it would be a good idea to partner up with Culture Trip to give everyone an experience, to get in the mood, maybe wear a little Halloween outfit and spend some time celebrating one of my favourite holidays."
