The BBC has delightedly revealed on its official Twitter account that her new morning show with co-presenter Gethin Jones, Morning Live, launched on Monday, 26 October, with an audience of 1.5m and boasted "the highest in its time slot".
Over on ITV, Monday'saveraged 1.3m viewers.
The BBC press office tweeted: “#MorningLive launched with a peak audience of 1.5m viewers and a 26% audience share – the highest in its time slot! Follow @BBCMorningLive to join the conversation.”

The new series has kicked off with guest appearances fromjudge, and Dr Xand with topics including face mask hygiene, buying and selling in lock down and the health benefits of the clocks going back.
Kym also bravely opened up about her son Archie, who tragically died at just 21 weeks, following a premature birth in February 2009.
She revealed that a lot of people were too uncomfortable to attend his funeral, because they "couldn’t cope".
Kym has revealed that she is delighted to be trying out a new TV partnership.
“I’ve always enjoyed morning TV, it’s a great way to start the day (with a cuppa in hand of course),' Kym said.
The 44 year old is on a roll since leavingafter 14 years playing Michelle Connor.
This summer she hosted current affairs programme, Your Money and Your Life, on the BBC.
She said: "I love nothing more than a good catch up, although this is more of a daily conversation with our lovely viewers.
"I think variety is key so I’m really excited to work with Gethin and our fantastic guest presenters to bring the latest in lifestyle, health and consumer concerns.”
Morning Live is on weekdays at 9:15am on BBC One.
