star Sarah Drew has landed her next TV role in the form of new thriller series Cruel Summer.
reports that the actress, who played Dr April Kepner for nine seasons of Grey's Anatomy between 2009 and 2018, has secured a season-long role in the Freeform drama, which sounds like an intriguing mystery.
Cruel Summer is set in a small Texas town over the course of three summers between 1993 and 1995. The town is rocked when a beautiful and popular teenage resident named Kate (Cloak & Dagger star Olivia Holt) is suddenly abducted.
