In a seemingly unrelated turn of events, another teenage girl, Jeanette (The Brave's Chiara Aurelia), transforms from a sweet but awkward outsider into the most popular girl in town - and by the final summer of the show, she has somehow become the most hated person in the US.

Drew will be playing Jeanette's mother Cindy, who was once herself the most popular girl in town. But as gossip begins to surround her family, Cindy starts to struggle to hold them all together.

Each episode of the show will be told from the perspective of either Kate or Jeanette, with viewer loyalties expected to constantly shift as more details are revealed.
