Entertainment Emmerdale confirms dangerous alliance for Jamie Tate and Mackenzie Boyd

Emmerdale spoilers follow.

On tonight's Emmerdale (November 4), a dangerous new alliance was formed between Jamie Tate and Mackenzie Boyd.

Last night's episode left viewers with a cliffhanger, as Moira's brother Mackenzie was seen sneaking around Home Farm with a weapon.

And there was further trouble for Jamie, as Cain appeared to be hatching a plan to take him down, getting Sam onboard following Jamie's vile treatment of Lydia.

Sam and Cain arrived at Home Farm tonight as Mackenzie was still lurking in the shadows. The pair tried to get Jamie drunk, in an effort to have him arrested for drink-driving as revenge for Moira's hit and run.

EMMERDALE fans are obsessed with newcomer Mackenzie Boyd after he ruined Charity Dingle’s life without a care in the world. And after dealing with Cain, Mackenzie shut down Matty’s attempts to talk to him before running into Charity and ruining her life.

As Jamie offered to pay them off, Mackenzie emerged revealing that he had heard everything.

Cain and Sam ordered him to leave and at first it seemed as if Mackenzie was complying. But after Sam went off to make sure he had left, only Mackenzie returned.

Much to Cain's shock, Mackenzie had locked Sam in the boot of his car and after letting him out, he revealed he had recorded their entire conversation with Jamie, meaning their plan was ruined.

Later, Mackenzie went back to visit Jamie and confessed he had originally come to Home Farm to steal his car.

But instead, he attempted to make a deal, offering to be Jamie's minder to protect him from Sam and Cain.

Jamie accepted the proposal, but wondered if there was anything he should know about why Mackenzie was sticking around in the village.

Mackenzie assured Jamie it was just family stuff and nothing he needed to worry about.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
