Los Angeles: “ His Dark Materials ” co- stars Ruth Wilson and Andrew Scott are reuniting for “Oslo”, an HBO film based on the Tony Award-winning play by JT Rogers. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hollywood heavyweight Steven Spielberg is one of the executive producers on the movie .

Oslo, which has been written by Tony Award winner JT Rogers and is based on his play of the same name, will be helmed by Bartlett Sher, who also directed it for the stage.

The plot is based on the true story of negotiations between a small group of Israelis, Palestinians and one Norwegian couple, which led to the 1993 Oslo Peace Accords.

Oslo will air on HBO and stream on HBO Max in 2021 and will be executive produced by La La Land's Marc Platt, Kristie Macosko Krieger and Steven Spielberg.

Meanwhile, Wilson recently spoke about her exit from The Affair following reports of a toxic work environment.

"The reason I haven't gone into The Affair is that I haven't worked out how to discuss it. There's a lot of noise and anger surrounding it, and really the power rests with me to choose how I discuss my life and my experiences," Wilson said.

"What's important to say is that I did speak up. I did have a voice. I did stand up for myself. There was a situation on The Affair where things didn't feel right, and I dealt with them, and I managed to protect myself."
