Entertainment Netflix UK confirms Shaun of the Dead, Casper and more movies landing in December

© Universal Netflix UK has shared a list of films that will be landing on the streaming service in December, including Shaun of the Dead, Casper and more.

Netflix UK has released the massive list of movies that will be hitting the streaming service in December.

First up is Netflix original movie The Prom, starring Meryl Streep, James Corden, Nicole Kidman and Andrew Rannells, which comes from American Horror Story boss Ryan Murphy.

The quartet star as Broadway performers who find a new purpose after their stage careers take a nosedive, when they head to a small town in Indiana "on behalf of a young girl" who's been banned from taking her girlfriend to the prom.

The Broadway stars soon decide to "give this girl a prom" in an attempt to revive their own flagging careers, as they set out to stage a prom to remember.

Also landing on the service in December is Mank, starring Gary Oldman and Amanda Seyfried, which arrives on December 4.

Directed by David Fincher, the film tells the story of Herman J Mankiewicz, who co-wrote Citizen Kane, and the problems he had with Orson Welles during the film's production.
