Kaley Cuoco has singled out fans of The Big Bang Theory for their continuing support, ahead of the premiere of her new series The Flight Attendant.

Quite the departure from the hit sitcom, The Flight Attendant – which starts today (November 26) in the US – follows air hostess Cassie Bowden after she wakes up next to a dead body in a Bangkok hotel, and with no idea what happened.

While getting ready for the Thanksgiving premiere, Kaley thanked "the unbelievable cast", the "sensational" group of writers and producers, the crews, the post-production team, Warner Bros, and HBO Max for helping to get The Flight Attendant off the ground.

Kaley also gave a special shout-out to fans of The Big Bang Theory, telling them that she wanted to hear their thoughts on her latest TV venture, "good and bad".

"I appreciate you Big Bang Theory fans who maybe really loved Penny for so long and find it hard to turn that off and look at me in a different way and follow me down this path," she explained. "I know that can be really hard."

Reassuring Big Bang fans that they're going to like the move from Penny, Kaley continued: "I appreciate the people that took the chance, even if you were unsure, [to] take this 'flight' with me and check out the new show.
