Lily Allen and husband David Harbour celebrated her daughter Ethel's ninth birthday with a party at home, while they remained in lockdown amid the coronavirus crisis.

The singer, 35, claimed she went 'a bit ham' for the festivities as she showed off the decorations she put up to mark her little one's big day via Instagram on Wednesday.

Covering her living room in stunning decor, Lily had put up floor-to-ceiling fairy lights and colourful balloons all over the walls, while disco lights bathed the ceiling in a dark blue glow.

Lily clearly went all out, as floral paper lanterns, crescent-shaped ribbons and an array of different balloons were set up around the living room.

According to TMZ, the duo registered to marry in Sin City with a license valid for 12 months.  Public records obtained by the website state the expiration date for the license is September 6 2021 - meaning they were to wed within the year.
