I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is a show that sees famous faces slumming it in less than palatable conditions.

The stars sign up to live without luxuries, and often without yummy food, all for our viewing pleasure.

However this year some viewers have taken to social media to voice their opinion as to whether some of the celebrities are actually wearing make up inside the castle.

One viewer took to Twitter to ask about presenter Vernon Kay and EastEnders star Shane Richie, writing: "Are the boys wearing eyeliner?? #ImACeleb."

Caitlyn Jenner rounds up the whole gang of girls for her 71st birthday

There's been previous talk of beef between some members of this uber-famous blended family, but this week it looked to be all love. Caitlyn Jenner rounded up her daughters Kylie and Kendall Jenner along with all three Kardashian stepdaughters and pal Sophia Hutchins for her 71st birthday this past Wednesday, and posted a snap of the starry bunch to her Instagram for the occasion. 'Feeling very very blessed on my 71st birthday! Love you all so much!' the elder Jenner captioned the post on Friday, which saw Kylie, Kendall along with Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian seated at a table around Caitlyn.

Another added: "#ShaneRichie are you wearing eyeliner?”

A third was focused on the women in the camp, chiefly Coronation Street actress Beverley Callard and broadcaster Victoria Derbyshire.

They wrote: "Pretty sure Beverly and Victoria are wearing eye liner and mascara. Is that allowed this year? #ImACeleb.”

And another Twitter user honed in on Paralympian athlete Hollie Arnold’s supposed makeup, asking: "I just wanna know what brand of eyeliner your woman Hollie off imaceleb is wearing because it survived this WHOLE episode."

Wearing makeup is actually banned on the show, however there have been some controversies surrounding this in past series.

Last year Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway came under fire from viewers who though she was wearing a full face of makeup for a Bushtucker Trial.

One wrote: "Where's Kate suddenly got all this makeup from? Homegirl's in the middle of an Australian jungle with a full on smokey eye."

Back in the 2017 series former Made In Chelsea star Georgia Toffolo was actually allowed to wear foundation on her face owing to the fact that she suffered from acne which is a medical problem.

In an interview with The Sun she explained: "I’ve been to the doctors so much over the years. It’s a medical problem and I’ve been on strong tablets for six months trying to get rid of them.

“So show bosses agreed that, because it was a medical problem, I was allowed to put foundation on once a day in the morning.”
