At his beginnings, in college, Serge Lopez launched into the Jimi Hendrix style electric guitar. Without much conviction. When he listens to the legendary musician Paco de Lucia, it's a revelation. After a stay in Andalusia, in the footsteps of his grandparents, he became addicted to flamenco. It has been 40 years since the chords of this lively and popular music have left him. Meeting with this autodidact who has never been able to read music but who feels and experiences it like no one else.

For several decades, Serge Lopez has been performing concerts on stage and collaborating with other artists. Among them, Francis Cabrel or Nilda Fernandez who called on him for four songs from his album "Ti amo". Then the younger generation took an interest in him. Recently, rappers BigFlo & Oli asked for him to work on their opus Real life. His talent came to light on the occasion of the Victoires de la musique in 2019.

Despite a discography of seven albums, the Toulouse musician-composer has always wanted to remain the man in the shadows. And yet, he has illuminated world music for more than 40 years. Like so many other artists, he did not want to lose contact with his audience during the lockdown and started posting new songs on social networks.
