Alexey Pajitnov, the Russian creator of Tetris, is also set to feature in the movie, as will British businessmen Robert and Kevin Maxwell, but these roles have yet to be cast. This cast of characters suggests the movie will focus on the rights dispute that surrounded the game in the late 1980s.

This is the moment that Love Actually star Martine McCutcheon declared that she hated watching herself on the screen saying that she 'cringes' every time

"One of my favourites is definitely the Colin Firth storyline," she said.

Colin played Jamie, who after discovering his girlfriend was cheating on him with his brother, retreated to France where he fell in love with housekeeper Aurelia, despite them not speaking the same language.

"That was so funny and so sweet and the fact that he learnt Portuguese and he was so lovely to work with too. I just loved how it was shot," Martine added. "I just thought it was so sweet when he went back to the restaurant to get her and the whole family are marching behind him."

"I also love the Emma Thompson storyline because she is such a good actress and it's just so heartbreaking when she knows the necklace was never for her," she said. "Every time I see that clip, I am just stopped in my tracks and I get a lump, I get so choked by it."
