Louise Minchin was on hand to discuss the day's headlines on BBC Breakfast while her usual co-presenter Dan Walker continued to take some time away from the show. Charlie Stayt stepped in to host the BBC news programme but it was Louise's outfit choice that got viewers talking on Twitter.

Louise paired her spring themed dress with cream court shoes and viewers loved the look.

One viewer commented: "Morning! Loving your dress this morning."

"It's called the Stinger, I love the way they've written this in the Daily Mail and this story is about moths causing very serious problems particularly National Trust houses including Blickling Hall in Norfolk."

"And what the National Trust is going to do is get these tiny tiny wasps, send them in and they'll kill off clothes moths which are currently destroying tapestries," she continued.

"That's the idea. These tiny wasps will be deployed to kill the moths."

"How small are the wasps?" Charlie enquired and she answered: "They are 0.5mm."

"Each one?" Charlie asked. "That is very small. Okay they are small."

"They are microscopic, I should have said microscopic," Louise remarked.

"I was trying to relate it to a normal wasp but that's very very small, invisible really," Charlie stated.

"There you go," Louise said. "Good choice Charlie."
