Keeping Faith began in 2017 with Faith Howells' (played by Eve Myles) husband Evan (Bradley Freegard) going missing. Fast forward to now and the couple is in the middle of a difficult break-up. So when can fans expect to watch the BBC drama? Here's everything we know so far about the third series.

When is the release date for Keeping Faith season 3?

Keeping Faith season three, which was filmed in both Welsh and English, aired in late 2020 on Welsh-language channel S4C.

The English version will be shown on BBC Wales sometime this month and will be available around the UK on BBC iPlayer.

Series three will also be shown on BBC One but a release date hasn't been announced.

Who is in the cast of Keeping Faith season 3?

Actress Eve Myles will return to reprise her role as Faith Howells, having starred in the first two seasons.

Some of her other credits include Broadchurch, Torchwood, You, Me and Them, Victoria and Cold Feet.

She will once again be joined by actor and real-life husband Freegard as Evan and Mark Lewis Jones as Steve Baldini.

New cast members for series three are Dinnerladies' Celia Imrie, The Borrowers' Sian Phillips and GMB presenter and actor Sean Fletcher.

Is there a trailer for Keeping Faith season 3?

Yes, a trailer has been released for Keeping Faith series three but it is for the Welsh-speaking version of the show.

But the same series of clips may be used for the English version when it is released.

In the Welsh trailer, Faith is seen saying that she's "had enough of compromising" to her soon-to-be ex-husband.

What is the plot of Keeping Faith season 3?

Season three of Keeping Faith will take place around 18 months after the events of series two.

The drama will return to Abercorran where Faith and Evan's divorce and custody battle continues to worsen.

She struggles to cope with the messiness of the break-up and the effect it is having on the whole family.

This isn't the only thing stressing Faith out though as she still got her work commitments to focus on.

Faith gets emotionally involved with a legal medical case that involves a gravely ill child.

She tries to balance dealing with the case as well as trying to be a good mum and getting through her relationship problems.
