Star Wars timeline: Every major event in chronological order

Star Wars timeline: Every major event in chronological order The hugely complicated Star Wars timeline – from all the canon movies, TV shows, comics, and novels – explainedWhen the late, great Carrie Fisher was once asked what order the movies should be watched in, her response was: "Watch the ones that I'm in… Then you can do whatever you want." While you're more than welcome to follow Fisher's advice, we've put a bit more thought into our timeline of events. As well as the movies, we've included TV shows like The Mandalorian and The Clone Wars, as well as canon from the novels and comic books. We've also delved into Star Wars lore to incorporate all the important events that have occurred in between movies and off-screen.

Star Wars: Hera Syndulla could replace Cara Dune

Lucasfilm had big plans for Cara Dune. In the meantime, there was a separate spin-off series in the room. It was also planned for the offshoot Rangers of the New Republic . As LRM Online found out, Cara Dune could be replaced there by another familiar Star Wars character: Hera Syndulla, known from Star Wars Rebels.

It should be emphasized right away: It's just a rumor. Nothing is officially confirmed. LRM Online is often wrong with its scoops. Regardless of this, the Hera Syndulla rumor also appears in Kessel Run Transmissions , which at least suggests that the matter is not completely out of thin air.

If we look at the evolution of the Star Wars franchise, the rumor definitely makes sense. Lucasfilm strives to continue the legacy of its animated series in live action form. The Mandalorian started it off, bringing back characters like Ahsoka Tano and Bo-Katan Kryze.

Hera Syndulla's return fits perfectly into the Star Wars pattern

We recently reported that an return from Star Wars Rebels hero Ezra Miller is within reach, not to mention Grand Admiral Thrawn, whose upcoming arrival in season 2 was themed by The Mandalorian. Hera Syndulla, the intrepid pilot of the Ghost, fits this pattern perfectly.

Here you can watch the trailer for the 2nd season of The Mandalorian:

The question arises whether she will really be integrated into the new series as a replacement for Cara Dune in Rangers of the New Republic. Based on Lucasfilm's previous approach, it seems as if an appearance of the character was planned anyway sooner or later. For the time being, however, there is no concrete information on this.
