The escapades of a Scots vice queen jailed for running an elite New York sex ring are being made into a movie - but her client list will remain a secret.

Anna Gristina, originally from Kirkliston, West Lothian, famously refused to give up her contacts book to cut a plea deal in a case that saw her dubbed the “Millionaire Madam” almost a decade ago.

Now the mum-of-four has confirmed a prime time TV movie based on her life is set to air in the US, but her former customers - alleged to have included celebrities and even royalty - will not be compromised.

The 53-year-old said: “Some things should never be told.”

Prosecutors claimed Gristina made £6million from a high-class prostitution ring while living a double life as a “soccer mom”.

Queen Brian May: Bohemian Rhapsody smashes record - First British band in history to do it

Queen Brian May: Bohemian Rhapsody smashes record - First British band in history to do it QUEEN'S BRIAN MAY is celebrating the news today that Bohemian Rhapsody has smashed an incredible new world record - the first British band in history to do it. The legendary guitarist said: "This is beyond all our wildest dreams."Today, the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) certified Bohemian Rhapsody as a Diamond record. That means the iconic song has now sold over ten million copies in the US alone.

She admitted only a single count of promoting prostitution after being caught arranging a sex show for an undercover police officer in 2011.

Gristina served four months in the notorious Rikers Island prison in the run up to her trial in 2012 and was sentenced to five years’ probation and time served.

She later told US chat show host Dr Phil how she ran her operation from New York’s exclusive Upper East Side and had a global roster of up to 100 high-class hookers based in the city and in London.

She said matching them up with wealthy old men was a “nice thing to do” and girls only made the list if they were “educated and well groomed”.

Gristina revealed she got paid between £375 and £625 per introduction and could rake in mega cash on Super Bowl weekend.

Following her conviction she shunned city life and moved to a pig farm.

The TV film Soccer Mom Madam will air in June, with One Tree Hill actress Jana Kramer staring as Gristina.

She told the New York Post this week: “Some things should never be told. Trust is a valuable asset.”

Gristina was adopted when she was a baby by an older couple, Scottish gardener John Tennant and his maid wife, Annie, who already had five children.

She grew up eight miles from the centre of Edinburgh in her tiny village and attended the local primary and high schools but cut ties with family when she moved to America.

She divorced age 24 and went on to marry twice more.

Gristina told our sister paper the Sunday Mail in 2019 that Billionaire Jeffrey Epstein’s child sex trafficking case reveals just the tip of America’s corrupt legal establishment, saying she had personally experienced it after her arrest.

She said: “People don’t understand the levels of corruption that exist but perhaps the Epstein case is going to finally give the world an insight into that.”
