Hollyoaks is set to reveal the results of Martine Deveraux's biopsy next week, after she recently discovered a lump on her breast.

After having a mammogram at the hospital, Martine (Kéllé Bryan) was given the bad news by Peri Lomax (Ruby O'Donnell) that her lump was "suspicious" and that she would need to have a biopsy to check whether the lump could be cancerous.

Martine has since been anxiously awaiting the results of her biopsy and, in scenes to air next week, she will make a return trip to the hospital.

The day before she is due to get her results, Martine meets her former love rival Grace Black (Tamara Wall) – who recently received the all-clear from cancer after finding a lump of her own – and the pair have a drink at at The Loft as Martine confides in Grace about her fears.

The next morning, Martine has a lot to think about as she gets ready to head to the hospital to hear her results. This also happens to be the day that the Dee Valley Businesswoman of the Year is announced – an award that Martine is in the running for.

Unfortunately for Martine, Grace has betrayed her trust and told Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood) that Martine is getting her biopsy results today. Martine is furious with Grace, but Grace is insistent that Martine can accept help from others.
