The 30-year-old rapper launched her Devil's Advocate perfume after pouring her passion into its development and she's now likened the process to songwriting.
She told Women's Wear Daily: "Fragrance is so emotional, the same way that even songwriting is.
"When I sit down, and I’m writing a song, I’m considering what I want people to feel, even if it’s a party song and the emotion of happiness or chaos even sometimes.
"I have never really associated that kind of thing with beauty or a product before, because I just hadn’t had that inside experience or the ability to develop something, develop a conceptual idea and the universe of a product. I’ve enjoyed it so much.

Gallery: College dropout to superstar DJ! 10 things you never knew about Craig David (BANG Showbiz)
Rewind, when the crowd say, "Bo selecta"!
Happy Birthday, Craig David! The DJ turns 40 on May 5, 2021, and to mark the milestone, we take a look back at his rise to fame. As one of the world’s biggest DJs, Craig rose to fame in the 1990s and has gone on to sell over 15,000,000 records worldwide. Here are 10 things you never knew about Craig David...
He stared MC-ing at 14
Craig was introduced to music at a young age with thanks to his dad, who played bass in a reggae band called Ebony Rockers. He began accompanying his father to local dance clubs, where DJs let him take the microphone. The ‘7 Days’ hitmaker recalled: “Going to clubs underage was my apprenticeship. I was getting away with going to a lot of different clubs in Southampton and being DJ Flash’s MC and box boy. We met when he was playing at one of the community clubs that my dad was chairman of. I jumped on the mic one day and I knew he couldn’t say anything to me because my dad was paying his wages.”
He was bullied in school
The megastar attended Bellemoor School in Southampton, where he was tormented for his weight. Older pupils also hassled him for money after he started MC-ing at a club when he was 14 years old. Craig recalled: "I must have been about 14 years old, a little bit overweight, and this guy, two years older than me, was picking on me and trying to take my money and trying to embarrass me in front of my friends. And I think trying to pretend to myself that it was all okay was the worst thing.”
He worked at McDonalds
Despite starting his career at an early age, Craig got a job working in McDonalds. He would hand out tokens for free meals along with his mixtape to help spread the word about his music. He said: “I was the Robin Hood of fast food. I worked at McDonald’s. You know those little tokens where you get a Big Mac and free fries? On my council estate, I was the boy because there was a mountain of those at the back of the McDonald’s which I liked to redistribute into my friends’ hands. I was bringing people happiness, man! At the same time, they were getting slipped a mix CD which I was selling for £10 a pop. It was really good profit to use to go and buy more vinyl.”
His vinyl collection helped him land his big break
Craig caught the eye of Wildstar Records co-owner Colin Lester through his work with garage duo Artful Dodger. It wasn’t until Lester visited Craig’s home in Southampton and saw his small bedroom was stacked from floor to ceiling with 12" vinyl records that he wanted to sign him. He recalled: "That convinced me he was the real deal and not just some kid acting out the part."
He’s never won a BRIT
The megastar may be one of the biggest DJs, having landed more than 10 top 10 hits. However, despite being nominated for 14 BRIT Awards, he has never taken home the accolade. Craig has also been nominated for two Grammy awards but is yet to win the trophy.
He is Jewish
The DJ is Jewish through his mother’s family as his grandfather was Orthodox Jewish and his grandmother converted to Judaism. However, he did not tap into his heritage until his grandmother passed away. He said: “I only awoke to my Jewish heritage later in life. I didn’t really know the depth of the Jewish side of my family until my [maternal] grandmother passed away. She was laid to rest in the synagogue. That’s where I found out more about the Jewish side. Culturally it felt like it wasn’t leaning either way in terms of my mum being Jewish or my dad being Christian. We were just living the life.”
He was awarded for his music
The ‘Re-Rewind’ singer has won several awards for his chart-topping songs and albums. However, his biggest achievement came in 2020 when he was honoured with an MBE as part of the Queen’s New Years Honours List. Craig was also awarded an honorary degree of Doctor of Music from Southampton Solent University in 2008.
He is a trainer addict
Craig has become obsessed with trainers over the years and is even addicted to the smell of fresh kicks. He said: "That box fresh smell is incredible. I put them in a special cupboard in my dressing room. I'm excessive but never too excessive. There's four or five [pairs] of the same trainer - maybe that is excessive."
