The Matrix 4 and Aquaman star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II has landed his newest role: an action movie coming from the world's busiest actor, Dwayne Johnson, and his producing partner Beau Flynn.

As announced in The Hollywood Reporter, the star will be acting in and executive producing the film, titled Emergency Contact, at Warner Bros. Black Adam writers Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani have penned the script.

Details about the project are thin on the ground, but it is apparently set in the underground music scene of Austin, Texas, and is meant to be quite 'high-concept' for an action flick.

In fact, it's all so top secret that we're not even sure if Dwayne Johnson is actually starring in this one. But seeing as he makes more films than we order a takeaway when there's tons of food in the fridge, we imagine he'll at least make a cameo if not more.

Just last week it was announced that The Rock would be hosting an episode of an upcoming Disney+ series focusing on The House of Mouse's theme park attractions, while Keanu Reeves was announced to be joining the star in DC's League of Super Pets movie. Both projects are being produced by Dwayne Johnson too.
