Reopened businesses call for clarity on social distancing end date
Ongoing coronavirus rules mean newly reopened businesses are unable to operate at full capacity.Monday’s easing of coronavirus restrictions saw pints served in pubs, meals dished out inside restaurants, and film fans attending screenings in cinemas for the first time since December.
A film and food festival is coming to Cardiff this summer, with open-air cinema screenings and street food on offer.
Following approval from the Welsh government, Film & Food Fest 2021 is set to launch in Cardiff’s Bute Park, making it the first large-scale event to take place in the country this year according to organisers.
The UK’s biggest touring outdoor cinema company, Adventure Cinema, is hosting the event, which will be at Cardiff's Bute Park from June 17 to 20 .
The festival will then be visiting 14 other UK cities later in the summer, including Swansea on July 8-11.

Pokémon GO Fest returns for 2021 and trainers are in for a treat!This year, Pokemon will be celebrating its 25th anniversary and the fifth birthday of Pokemon Go and excitement is growing about what will be involved this time around.
What’s on offer?
Kicking off with an evening of short films from regional film-makers, the festival will see a range of films being shown across four days. Film screenings include Grease, Joker, JoJo Rabbit, as well as The Greatest Showman and Jurassic Park for younger audiences.
The festival will also be showing live comedy from Eshaan Akbar. Standard age restrictions apply to film screenings - for example, anyone viewing a film rated 15 or 18 must be that age or older to attend the event.
It’s an open-air cinema event, with street food curated by Street Food Warehouse and featuring The Falafel House, Handmade Pizza Co, Chock Shop, and Blakes Popcorn. Cocktails, prosecco and craft beers will also be on offer from the bar, and food and drinks can be ordered through the Yoello app.

Revealing the dates for the eventPokemon GO gave the gaming community something they had always dreamt about; catching pokemon in real life through their mobile phones.
Gates will open up to three hours before films start to ensure that visitors have plenty of time to sample what’s on offer.

When is it?
After approval from the Welsh Government, Film and Food Fest will be launching in Bute Park on Thursday June 17. Gates will open at 6pm on Thursday.
Where will it be held?
The event is being held in Cooper’s Field in Bute Park, with access from the entrance gate on the south side of the field.
The park is easily accessible from the city centre, with several bus stops situated along Castle Street to the south, and along North Road to the east.

How much are tickets?
Ticket prices vary across the different events being held. You can book tickets.
Thursday’s evening of short films is £6.54 per ticket, while standard tickets to see Grease on June 18, Joker on June 19 and JoJo Rabbit on June 20 cost £18.50.

Standard tickets to see The Greatest Showman on June 19 and Jurassic Park on June 20 are £16.50, while kids under 12 can go half price at £8.50.
Adventure Cinema will also be donating £2 from every ticket sold for the short film nights to support local film organisations within each city.
What social distancing measures are in place?
To ensure the safety of its events, Film and Food Fest will be taking place exclusively in socially spacious, outdoor venues across the country.
There will also be other measures in place, meaning the festival will be 100-per-cent compliant with government safety guidelines.
Organisers also said that ticket holders will be offered a 100% money-back guarantee "should anything mean that the events cannot go ahead".
