Duchin Kate praises work of children's hospice
The past corona year was difficult for everyone, especially hard and scary but for families with severely ill children, the Duchess wrote in her letter. Hospice "give the families the care and the time they need to create valuable, lifelong memories - the chance to be parents and not caregiver," she led them out.
The facilities are also there, "if it's time to say goodbye". The hospices would "make sure the family has privacy and dignity to mourn together, and as long as support will be supported". During the Child Hospice Week last year, Kate helped to plant a garden for the "The Nook" hospice. The managing director of Each, Tracy Rennie, praised the use of the Duchess with the words at that time: "She showed itself as usual full of compassion and empathy."
