GMB fans beg for Piers to return as Alastair branded ‘miserable' over England's success

GMB fans beg for Piers to return as Alastair branded ‘miserable' over England's success Good Morning Britain viewers were desperate to see Piers Morgan on the show today following England's Euro 2020 win last night.Piers kept it no secret he was an Arsenal fan, and a sports fan in general.

Charlotte Hawkins was furious with Dominic Raab on Thursday's Good Morning Britain when he committed the ultimate interviewee sin of getting her name wrong.

The Foreign Secretary was being grilled by hosts Charlotte and Alex Beresford about the changing isolation rules for double-jabbed travellers when he made the blunder.

Changing tack in the interview, Charlotte asked Dominic what his views were on Michael Gove's statement that people who could get the Covid vaccine, but chose not to, were selfish.

However, it seemed Dominic was so keen not to drop himself in it by calling unvaccinated people selfish that he fell straight into another disaster that he didn't see coming.

Charlotte asked: "Do you agree with Michael Gove who says those who don't have the vaccine are selfish?"

Dominic replied: "Sophie, the way I'd say it is look, get the vaccination, because it's in your own interests but also it's in the interests of your family, your community and the country as a whole, that's the way I'd frame it."

The Foreign Secretary looked pleased with his evasive answer, but Charlotte, looking annoyed, snapped: "Ok, it's Charlotte by the way, just so you know."

An embarrassed Dominic held up his hands and said: "Sorry!"

The top mandarins at the Foreign Office, the Home Office and the Ministry of Defence have all been away from Whitehall amid the chaos. The news emerged with Dominic Raab under huge pressure over staying on his luxury break in Crete when the Afghan government dramatically collapsed.
