Dan explained: "I've always said to Nadiya how do you... in the Cha Cha Cha or the Paso, you go for it and give it everything.

"That's how you get the joy and the fun across.

"I've always said.." Nadiya completed: "How do you get the joy in ballroom?"

"And she's always said..." Dan added, gesturing for the professional to complete the sentence.

"And I tell him it's the harmony - how two people are moving together synchronised."

Earlier this week, Dan told Lorraine Kelly that Nadiya had come into his life "at the perfect time".
