And with three boys (or “pickles”) at home – four when fiancé Joe Swash’s son Harry, 14, comes to stay – she’s well aware that she and her pickle princess will be slightly outnumbered.
Welsh actress Joanna Page has denied reports she's quitting acting after taking on a new TV presenting role.
The 44-year-old actress from Treboeth, Swansea, well-known for playing Stacey in smash-hit comedy seriesand Judy in Christmas rom-com Love Actually, took to social media to quash reports that she had decided to switch acting for TV presenting permanently as it's better suited to her family life.
Sharing a photo on Instagram from the set of new ITV programme, The Pet Show, which she co-hosts with Dermot O'Leary, Joanna wrote: "I'm loving my new career of presenting, but I have no plans to retire from acting, I'm enjoying doing it all!

"Welcome to the world, Rose!"In a smiling snap Nadia posted to Instagram, the three presenters are pictured at Stacey's home yesterday (October 14) with new baby Rose.
"And you can directly quote me on that!
"Tune in for The Pet Show on Sunday at 5.35pm on ITV."
Joanna and her husband, former Emmerdale star James Thornton, are parents to a daughter, Eva, aged eight, and two sons, six-year-old Kit and Noah, four and they're also preparing to welcome their "surprise" fourth child later this year..
Speaking to, Joanna explained why presenting television programmes is more fitting to family life, saying: "I really enjoy presenting and it works a lot better with a family as you don’t have to go away for weeks on end.
“For the first six months after I had Eva I was away working filming two shows back to back.
"I had my mum looking after her on set but it was so tough as all I wanted to do was spend time with my new baby.

The Welsh actress famed for playing Stacey said she thinks the whole cast would consider another specialThe Welsh actress, 44, played Stacey Shipman in the Bafta-winning TV series from 2007 to 2010 and in a Christmas special in 2019.
"Also, I just find presenting a lot more interesting. You’re always doing something different and I love just being myself and chatting to people.

"It can be a lot more fun than sitting alone in a trailer for hours learning lines, then going out to do a scene where you’re pretending to be somebody else."

Earlier this year Joanna presented the most recent series of BBC One's Shop Well For Less, a consumer series that sees families across the UK re-evaluate their spending habits in an effort to save money and be less wasteful.
Now she's back on our screens this weekend in The Pet Show. She said: "I’ve always loved animals and my pets are definitely a part of the family, so presenting The Pet Show has been a complete dream.

Whilst Joanna plans to focus on television presenting for the moment, she hasn't permanently closed the door on her acting career.
If a certain popular television programme was to film a one-off special, like its popular 2019 Christmas special, Joanna would jump at the opportunity to get back on set.
"We all want to know what Smithy said at the end," she said of Gavin & Stacey. "It’s such a great job. You’re working with people who make you laugh all day long like Rob Brydon. The Christmas special felt like a big reunion."

For now though, Joanna is focusing on getting her home ready for her fourth baby.
She said: "Finding out I was pregnant was a very welcome and happy surprise. As it’s my fourth child, I feel quite relaxed. I’ve gone through my manic phase where I’ve been getting the nursery ready and felt like I’ve had so much energy, but now I’ve hit a wall.
"All I want to do is lie on the sofa and eat, sleep and watch Netflix. I’m trying to get the shopping all sorted so I can have the whole of November just lying on the sofa."
