Entertainment Hollyoaks to bring in DeMarcus' mother as his future comes under threat

Hollyoaks is going to be bringing in DeMarcus Westwood's mother in a storyline that could see his time in the village come to an end.

DeMarcus moved to Hollyoaks a few weeks ago to live with his dad Felix, but his old man has since gone into hiding after some messy business with Warren Fox and Fergus Collins.

In upcoming scenes, DeMarcus skips school by pretending he's not feeling very well, but he's soon caught by Toby Faroe, who finds out that DeMarcus is trying to track down Felix.

Meanwhile, DeMarcus also decides to look for a gift for Martine Deveraux, taking money from Nate Denby and leaving him in IOU to do so.

Unfortunately, DeMarcus' teacher notices all of this and calls in DeMarcus' mum, Viv (Velile Tshabalala).

On her arrival in the village, Viv looks at her options and considers whether it's best to take DeMarcus away with her, which causes a big argument with the Deveraux family.

The whole situation stresses DeMarcus out as his future in Hollyoaks is called into question, but Nate is on hand to lend an ear. Perhaps too much of an ear, though.

Just why is Nate so interested in the Deveraux family? And will DeMarcus really have to leave the village so soon?

Next week will also see another flashforward storyline, one which sees fan-favourite veteran character Darren Osborne kidnapped by a mysterious figure.

Hollyoaks airs these scenes in the week commencing Monday, November 8 on Channel 4 and E4.
