Sir Elton John is keen to spend more time at home with his family.The 74-year-old singer is poised to hit the road for one last time for his Yellow Brick Road tour, and he'll then focus his attention on spending quality time with his family.

© Bang Showbiz Adele pokes fun at exes on UK TV special The 'Hello' singer was asked by her close pal, comedian Alan Carr, on ITV's 'An Audience With Adele': “Famously you write songs about your exes. If your exes wrote a song about you, what would it be called, and what would it sound like?”
And she quipped back: “Probably called ‘No One Like You’, I would imagine.”
The 33-year-old star - who has nine-year-old son Angelo with ex-husband Simon Konecki - then joked that "most of them" wouldn't have the talent to pen a song because they aren't very good at the simplest of "normal daily" life tasks.

Her complicated relationship with alcohol
In the period after her divorce when she was crafting her new album '30', Adele decided to stop drinking, and her sobriety led to her learning about herself. She revealed: “Well, when I was going through everything a couple of years ago, when I was going through my divorce, at first, I was probably keeping the alcohol industry alive. But you know, once I realized that I had a lot of work to do on myself, I stopped drinking and I started working out lots and stuff like that to keep me centered.”

Oprah asked the singer about her recent weight loss, which has seen her shift 100 pounds since 2019, insisting all her fans are interested in her journey. Adele said: "I’m not shocked or even fazed by it because my body has been objectified my entire career … I was body positive then and I’m body positive now. But it’s not my job to validate how people feel about their bodies. And I feel bad that, you know, it’s made anyone feel horrible about themselves. But that’s not my job.”

Her paralyzing anxiety
Adele revealed that her weight loss was not the motivating factor for her transformation. She said: “I had the most terrifying anxiety attacks after I left my marriage, they paralyzed me completely and made me so confused because I wouldn’t be able to have any control over my body, but I was aware of that happening because it was kind of still very much there while my whole body was just like, on another planet it felt like.”

How she made peace with her father
Adele opened up about her relationship with her late estranged father Mark Evans, revealing that they healed their damaged relationship before he died in May 2021, at the age of 57. She even played him her new album over Zoom, after years of him avoiding her songs due to the pain her lyrics caused him. Adele said: "It was amazing for me and him. "I think he could listen to me sing it, but not saying it – we are very similar like that. "His favourites were all of my favourites, which was amazing. So it was it was very, very healing [and] when he died, it was literally like the wound closed up. "I felt that huge gaping hole filled."

She blamed her father for her complicated love life
Adele also revealed that she blamed her relationship with her father for her relationship issues, saying: “My main goal in life is to be loved in love. “And so I wanted to play [my album] to my dad being like, ‘You’re the reason I haven’t done that yet,’ he was the reason I haven’t fully accessed what it is to be in a loving relationship with somebody.”

The moment she knew her marriage was over
The end of the singer’s marriage to Simon Konecki was not marked by any tragic event or betrayal. She realized there was no going back by taking a magazine quiz with her friends. She said: “We were all answering these questions in this very bougie magazine, and it was something like, ‘What’s something that no one would ever know about you?’ “And I just said it in front of three of my friends, I was like, ‘I’m really not happy.'"

Her ex-husband saved her life
Her marriage may not have worked out, but to this day she still has immense affection for her ex Simon because she knows he literally saved her life when they met. The singer claims she has no doubt that without him she would have ended up being overwhelmed with fame and doing things she would regret today. She stated: "He was someone so stable ... The most stable person I have ever met. Even now, I trust him completely."

The 'Rolling in the Deep' singer revealed that her divorce is and will always be one of her great failures. Adele married the father of her only child, Angelo, in 2018 and they separated that same year. She said: "I'm ashamed that I didn't get things to work. It may not seem like it now, okay, but it's almost like I've been disrespectful, getting married and divorced so quickly."

Adele opened up about her new relationship with sports agent Rich Paul, who represents LeBron James and other NBA stars, recalling that they met at a birthday party a couple of years ago. "So it was more that this person was asking for me to throw myself into it. And I couldn’t because I was still recovering from the breakdown of my marriage."
Adele explained that she came to associate the mystery male with the collapse of her marriage.
She added: "I associate him with the breakdown of my marriage. So, therefore, he is part of the storm. And I was just, you know, really honest with him about it, thank God. Otherwise, I could’ve found myself in a situation being in a relationship I didn’t want to be in after coming out of one."
