Marvel's Eternals star Lia McHugh has unveiled a first look at Harry Styles' deleted scene.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday (November 21), Lia – who plays Sprite – shared a photo of herself, Richard Madden, who brings Ikaris to life, and the former One Director singer.

In the snap, all three of them are wearing silver robes that eagle-eyed fans will have seen towards the beginning of the movie, when the titular heroes are "awoken" and placed on Earth by their Celestial master.

In its final cut, the comic book outing introduces Styles in the first of its two post-credits scenes, as his character Eros (also known as Starfox) makes his way onto the Eternals' ship, the Domo.

It's a glorified cameo that hints at his future within the MCU, but, if those matching costumes are anything to go by, it looks like Styles could have initially featured in another scene in the film that didn't make the final cut.

Set after the events of Avengers: Endgame, Eternals follows ten members of an advanced alien race, each with their own unique powers, who have lived on Earth in secret for thousands of years.

Angelina Jolie and Salma Hayek round out the cast, playing Thena and Ajak, respectively.

Eternals is now playing in US and UK cinemas.
