The campmates were put into social isolation with no access for their phones, TV or any internet access as they had in the castle.
Ant continued: “For safety reasons, the celebs were evacuated over the weekend and sent to separate locations with no phones, no internet, no TV and no access to the outside world.”
Dec praised the heroic team who had worked “around the clock” to get the hit ITV show back on air on Tuesday night.
He said: “Meanwhile we were working around the clock to get the show back on air, and when I say we, I mean a lot of bigger boys than us in hard hats and high vis jackets and they did an incredible job!
“Well done lads and lasses, thank you for your efforts.”
The hosts as well as the production crew all cheered for team that managed to get the show back online after the awful storm damage.
