Britain's Got Talent golden buzzer row as fans say it went to wrong act .
Fans argued that Doncaster singer Nick Edwards should have been given the golden buzzer treatment, rather than New York-based singer Loren Allred the golden buzzer on tonight's first episode of the latest series of the ITV talent show. The golden buzzer means that contestants automatically get through to the semi-finals and each judge is allowed one per season. Loren introduced herself to the BGT audience as a professional singer from New York whose vocal performance had previously been used in the hit film The Greatest Showman.
