Meena was recently found guilty of all charges after going on a killing spree around the village, claiming the lives of Leanna Cavanagh (Mimi Slinger), Andrea Tate (Anna Nightingale) and Ben Tucker (Simon Lennon) last year.
She also shot Leyla Cavanagh (Roxy Shahidi) and kidnapped several other residents, including older sister Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker).

Speaking to Metro.co.uk and other press about the culmination of Meena’s story, Paige gives an insight into what’s going through Meena’s mind when she attends her sentencing hearing.

Coronation Street: Amy confronts a pale Summer, who loses her temper and tells her pal to leave her alone. Jacob, meanwhile, takes advantage of Evelyn over-ordering alcopops, and he sells them in Victoria Gardens in order to pay the rent. Simon reports Jacob to the police, but Jacob does a runner, leaving boxes of alcopops on the bench. The police officers find Summer slumped on the bench next to the boxes and assume she is drunk. Amy and Aadi call at the police station and tell Craig about Summer’s arrest and how they suspect she might be suffering from her diabetes. Craig hurries to the cells where he finds Summer in a diabetic coma. Fearing the worst, the policeman shouts for someone to call an ambulance. The question is: will Summer be okay (Picture: ITV)

Meanwhile, the consultant assures a gutted Marlon, although she’s pleased with his progress, he’s in the best place possible. Rhona presses the consultant for a timeline on his recovery. When Rhona arrives home she lashes out to see Mary with Faith in the pub. After her outburst, Mary worries Marlon’s move home will only increase Rhona’s exhaustion and urges her to consider the impact on herself and the kids. Millie is attending Thomas' christening, meaning she could reveal the truth about Jamie to Kim and Gabby.This week, Kim (Claire King) and Gabby (Rosie Bentham) have clashed over the upcoming christening.
‘But also she’s really delusional. She’s going into that sentencing thinking that after everything that she’s done, even taking hold of the court and adding more crimes to her long list, she still thinks that she’s going to get away with everything and only get sent down for a couple of years.
‘That’s the number she has in her head and then that doesn’t happen. She completely loses it.’
We can’t reveal how long Meena is sent down for, so you’ll just have to tune in to find out her ultimate fate. However, here Paige tells all about performing the dramatic court siege that took place after the verdict.
‘There’s this flamboyancy and charm that she has and she enjoys the spectacle. So it was really fun to play. Lots of great Meena one-liners, so it was fun.’
With the impact Meena has made as soapland’s most animated villain, it’s hard to believe we won’t be seeing her on our screens again. But alas, it’s almost time for her to depart Emmerdale.
With the promise of one last tantrum on the horizon, though, make sure you don’t miss Meena’s swan-song.

She’s determined to be the director, producer and star of her very own show. When she’s first brought up into the dock, she seems docile, meek and even vulnerable. The jury are taken in by it but people who know her realise that it’s just an act. It doesn’t stop Liam (Jonny McPherson) getting upset by it, though – especially when Meena’s counsel accuses Liam of having an affair with her. He reacts in exactly the way Meena hopes he will – by lashing out. His outburst risks losing the sympathy of the jury.
