Gogglebox's Steph and Dom: here's what they are doing six years after quitting the show
And what happened to The Salutation? Sadly Steph and Dom were forced to sell The Salutation in 2021. They originally bought the property £2.6million back in 2004 and spent several million pounds restoring the Grade I-listed property. Speaking to The Daily Mail about the hotel, Dom said, "We just fell in love with the place. It was like finding gold in a river. We just thought, 'Oh my God. We must have it.'" They leased the hotel to John and Dorothy Fothergill in 2017.
They have been firm favourites withfans since their first appearance in 2017 but it wasn't the first time brother and sister Pete and Sophie Sandiford had appeared on TV. They were scouted for after appearing in adverts in 2016.
TalkTalk launched its 'This Stuff Matters' campaign after spending months interviewing families up and down the country. They finally set their sights on the Sandifords from Blackpool.
Mum Julie, Dad Paul, and kids Sophie and Pete - along with their brother and sister Lucy and Harry - and Elvis the dog all took part. They were filmed non stop for two weeks with 17 unmanned cameras to find the perfect "ordinary, everyday moments",
They also have a famous connection in their family as they great-niece and great-nephew of Chuckle Brothers stars Paul and Barry. Barry sadly died in 2018.
Paul Chuckle shared a snap of himself with Pete and Sophie in 2018. Posting it on social media, he wrote: "This day in 2018 with my great niece and nephew."
The Blackpool siblings have just two years between them, and they have a close bond and spend a lot of time together. The two have viewers in stitches with their hilarious quips as they comment on the week's best TV.
