After 37 years, tonight will be when we say goodbye to Australian soap Neighbours but not before looking at a few of many of its memorable scenes.

Over the last three, nearly four, decades, there have been many dramatic Ramsay Street moments that viewers will never forget. Australian fans were lucky enough to see the finale of the much-loved soap last night, and today the UK will have the chance to watch the last ever episode.

With many iconic characters returning for a final hurrah – such as Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan and Margot Robbie – Hull Live takes a look back at some of the most iconic storylines in the soap.

In an episode in 2008, Hollywood's Margot Robbie is the face of a memorable scene where her character Donna Freedman, Bridget Parker, and Rachel Kinski all take pregnancy tests. They get muddled up but to their shock, one turns out positive. However, it is later discovered that it is Bridget who is pregnant.

To celebrate Neighbour's 20th anniversary, fans were promised a special episode and producers did not disappoint, coming up with a gut-wrenching tragedy. A bomb set off mid-air sent a plane crashing into the sea, killing three main characters: David, played by Kevin Harrington, Liljana, portrayed by Marcella Russo, and Serena Bishop, who was played by Lara Sacher.

Aaron and David's wedding took place in 2019 and was Australia's first TV same-sex wedding which took park just a year after legalisation. In this episode, Aaron arrives at his wedding in a wheelchair – much to his husband-to-be's shock – because he earlier suffered a back injury which he further injured on the day of the wedding.

Including Susan Kennedy slipping on cereal, banging her head and suffering from memory loss. However, in 1998, Karl Kennedy admitted to his wife Susan about his out-of-character affair, leading to one of the most iconic slaps by Susan in TV history.
