Margot Robbie will produce and star in 'Beautiful Things'.

The 'Suicide Squad' actress' production company LuckyChap Entertainment have agreed to adapt the novel by Gin Phillips for Warner Bros and Robbie will take on the lead role of Joan, according to the Hollywood reporter.

The book is due for release in May 2017 and a summary on Phillips' website teases the story of Joan and her four-year-old son, who are trapped in a zoo with a gunman on the loose.

Di Novi Pictures' Denise Di Novi and Alison Greenspan will co-produce and a director and screenwriter are yet to be found.

Leeds 2(3)-2(2) Norwich: Rating the Canaries

Leeds 2(3)-2(2) Norwich: Rating the Canaries Norwich City have been dumped out of the EFL Cup after losing to Leeds United 3-2 in a penalty shootout. The score was 1-1 after 90 minutes, and then 2-2 after extra-time. Leeds then held their nerve to win the shootout 3-2. Norwich took the lead in the first-half of normal time. Robbie Brady picked out a superb cross to find the head of Alex Pritchard, who found the bottom corner – his first for the club. However, Marcus Antonsson levelled the scores just before half-time, after he converted a cross on the line. The Canaries found themselves ahead again in extra-time. Nelson Oliveira headed home a Alex Pritchard cross to hand them the lead – also his first goal for the club. Leeds substitute Chris Wood tapped the ball in from close range after the ball slipped through John Ruddy’s fingers to force the game to head to pens. The home side took advantage of misses from Alex Pritchard, Steven Naismith and Robbie Brady to win 3-2.

Meanwhile, Robbie will start filming 'I, Tonya,' next year and is also set to produce and play the lead role in biopic.

And last month it was reported the 26-year-old actress is in the final stages of talks to star in Sony's live-action and computer generated hybrid production 'Peter Rabbit'.

The adaptation of the children's tale penned by Beatrix Potter already boasts James Corden, Rose Byrne, Daisy Ridley, Domhnall Gleeson, and Elizabeth Debicki.

The film is scheduled for release in April 2018 and coincides with the 150th anniversary of the birth of author-and-illustrator Potter - who died in 1943 at the age of 77.

Robbie Williams apologises to Mel B for Spice Girls sex boast .
Spice Girls star Melanie Brown has received a personal apology from Robbie Williams after the pop star boasted about sleeping with all members of the girl group. The Angels singer has repeatedly made the joke as part of his concert routine over the years, but the tall tale has never sat well with Mel B, who insists she never slept with Robbie. The two old pals were able to catch up on Sunday (20Nov16), when Robbie appeared on X Factor Australia, on which Mel B is a judge, and she reveals he used the opportunity to say sorry. "He actually publicly apologised to me for all that mess saying he had apparently gotten it on with all five Spice Girls," Mel shared with Australian radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O on Monday (21Nov16). "He wishes!" she laughed, adding, "I was the one he never did." Revealing why she never got intimate with the former Take That star, she said, "He's a friend of mine Yuck! He had been with my friends - I don't want sloppy seconds." Robbie's cheeky behaviour during his pop heyday hit headlines again over the summer (Jul16) as his wife Ayda Field appeared to confirm part of his concert comment is actually true, suggesting he had previously slept with three of the five Wannabe hitmakers - Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, and Melanie Chisholm.
