On Saturday, September 19, Mika hosted an online concert aimed at raising funds for his hometown of Beirut, Lebanon. The singer announced that the event raised the sum of one million euros. This money will be donated to the Lebanese Red Cross and to the Save The Children association.

With the objective of supporting the inhabitants of Beirut, victims of an explosion which claimed the lives of 190 people and left more than 100,000 others homeless, Mika organized an online charity concert on September 19 . "Delighted to announce that I love Beirut has raised 1 million euros for the Lebanese Red Cross , posted Mika on his Twitter account. This sum was raised through the sale of online tickets for the concert but also through a GoFundMe page intended to collect donations. The funds raised will be donated to the Lebanese branch of the Red Cross and to the association Save The Children Lebanon .

On BFMTV, the singer had mentioned “a gesture of solidarity. To tell about the human side, without talking about politics, just for 1:40, we turn off the politics and we talk about the human side ”.
