The 6ft 7in central defender is currently in his first season in senior football and has impressed for the ‘Brickies’ who sit top of the Bostik South league, which is the eighth tier of the English footballing pyramid. Talking to the Kent Online, Sittingbourne manager Nick Davis spoke about the teenager’s future and the possibility of him leaving for the Eagles. “He’s got clubs left, right and centre looking at him. He was at Millwall again last week, Palace have said they want him to train with them and Fulham have also enquired. He could go to a pro club, play in their under-23s and get better coaching than we can provide, and on a daily basis. Would that give him the best shot? Potentially.

West Ham United and Crystal Palace are set to go head-to-head to sign Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere on a free transfer this summer. Wilshere has announced he’ll leave the Gunners when his contract expires, sparking a battle for his signature .

West Ham . Teams. Transfers. According to a number of surprise reports across social media this afternoon, Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is closing in on a move to Crystal Palace .

Crystal Palace are set to battle with London rivals West Ham United for the signature of Arsenal’s attacking midfielder Jack Wilshere, who is looking to leave the Emirates in January, according to a report on the Daily Star.

Wilshere is looking to get more first team action in an attempt to convince England manager Gareth Southgate to select him in the squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The Gunners will not consider a loan move for Wilshere and if he joins Crystal Palace in January, it will have to be on a permanent basis.

However, the Gunners have placed a £20m price tag on Wilshere. But with the player pursuing a move, they may relax that price slightly which gives Palace hope of securing his signature.

Hodgson reportedly ready to look for experience in January

Hodgson reportedly ready to look for experience in January Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson is reportedly poised to look specifically to recruit players with Premier League experience in January. The Eagles found business difficult in the summer transfer window, and this has proved to be damaging given their poor start to the season, in which they have failed to even score a goal or pick up a point. However, according to the Daily Mail, the experienced Palace boss wants to look into signing players with more pedigree in order to spearhead an unlikely survival mission. Hodgson has only been at Palace for around a month following Frank de Boer’s dismissal, and has been tasked with a hugely challenging target in turning the club’s season around. It’s stated in the report that Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere is on Hodgson’s radar, with the England international keen to resurrect his career in the hope of securing a World Cup call-up next summer. Wilshere has made two appearances this season.

West Ham United are interested in signing the Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter in January. However, The Hammers will have to face competition from Crystal Palace for the 27-year-old Bournemouth star.

Palace boss Roy Hodgson has targeted Wilshere as the player to fire his side away from relegation after picking up zero points without finding the back of the net even once this season.

West Ham are also in the race to sign Wilshere but the lack of competition for an attacking midfield position at Palace may convince the midfielder to move to Selhurst Park.

The midfielder has featured twice for Arsenal this season and has been impressive. He is yet to appear in the Premier League.

West Ham give Bilic two games to save his job .
Slaven Bilic has two games to save his West Ham job, according to the London Evening Standard. The Croatian’s future had been thrown in doubt after a 3-0 home defeat against Brighton on Friday night. Reports had suggested that Bilic could lose his job as a result of the defeat with his position set to be discussed after the game. West Ham now have two big games on the horizon against London rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace. The Hammers enjoyed one of the best performances in the London Stadium against Spurs last season and will be hoping for more of the same when the two sides meet on Wednesday night in the Carabao Cup at Wembley. Crystal Palace remain bottom of the Premier League with just one win to their name this season. A disappointing result against the latter could seal Bilic’s fate after just one win in their last five Premier League games.
