West Brom interested in Firmin Ndombe Mubele

West Brom interested in Firmin Ndombe Mubele According to a report from the Guardian, West Brom are interested in making a move to sign Firmin Ndombe Mubele. The versatile attacker is currently plying his trade out in France with Ligue 1 side Rennes, but appears to be pondering an exit, with a number of clubs interested. West Brom have been shy in front of goal this season and Alan Pardew will undoubtedly be looking far and wide as he aims to recruit additional firepower in the January transfer window. Mubele is an established international for the Democratic Republic of Congo national side and has been in good form this season. He has netted on five occasions in his last 12 starts, establishing himself as a highly promising player for Rennes. West Brom are not alone in their interest, though, with Newcastle United also claimed by the Guardian to have expressed an interest. Mubele can play up front or on either wing if necessary.

West Brom and Swansea are among just some of the clubs to have shown interest in left-sided Greek centre-back Dimitrios Siovas, according to the Daily Mail.

The 29-year old Greece international has been starring for Leganés in La Liga this season, playing in 12 games and keeping seven clean sheets in the process.

The 6ft 4in centre half can also play as a holding midfielder, and is understood to have a release clause set at just £10million.

West Brom are weighing up potential targets with Jonny Evans’ future not yet clear. Manchester City and Arsenal are just two clubs to have registered an interest in the Northern Ireland international.

West Brom’s Chinese owners are expected to be travelling ot the Midlands this weekend to watch the Baggies match against Brighton, where they will also discuss their transfer budget for Alan Pardew to utilise this window.

West Brom interested in signing Benik Afobe from Bournemouth .
West Brom are looking to sign Benik Afobe from Bournemouth in the January transfer window, according to Sky Sports. The Baggies are on the lookout for attacking reinforcements and it seems Afobe is the latest name to be considered. Aleksandar Mitrovic, who wants to leave Newcastle this month, has also be considered. It seems West Brom must sell before they buy this month as they look to balance the books. However, they are evidently keen to secure a couple of new recruits in the final third of the window, with a striker on Alan Pardew’s wish list. Afobe has been rotated by Eddie Howe at Bournemouth this season, with the manager juggling his striking options. West Brom have struggled in front of goal, with Salomon Rondon and Jay Rodriguez failing to provide the goals this season despite their recently promising form. Afobe has made only five starts in the Premier League this season and would surely be keen to secure first-team football elsewhere, with West Brom and Wolves now keeping tabs on his situation at the Vitality Stadium.
