After securing his first victory as West Brom manager in the FA Cup, Alan Pardew will be looking to kick on when his side welcome Brighton to the Hawthorns.

The Baggies have not won in the Premier League since the middle of August and find themselves languishing at the bottom of the table.

After naming a relatively strong side to see off League Two opposition Exeter City, Pardew has some big decisions to make.

Here is how we think the Baggies will line up against Brighton.

Pardew admits he may need to pursue cheaper targets .
Alan Pardew has admitted he may have to look at cheaper options this month after failing with enquiries for a host of higher profile names. Pardew had been interested in the likes of Theo Walcott, Daniel Sturridge and Danny Ings, but the former signed for Everton yesterday, and the latter pair have are refused a loan spell by Liverpool. It has left the Baggies considering their options as they look to retain their Premier League status. One target that Albion may look to sign is teenage defender Ben Wilmot from Stevenage. Pardew is also open to selling captain Jonny Evans in order to raise funds for potential signings, including Egyptian centre-back Ali Gabr. On the subject, Pardew said; “We don’t really have any finance to do anything regarding a player of stature unless there’s a transfer out.” “Theo Walcott, can we do that? No, that goes to Everton.” “It’s how you react, right up to the last two days, sometimes the last hours.” “But we don’t want to be in a position going into those last three days in that equation, when the better options have already gone and you’re left with options that don’t work.
