Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi, who is currently on loan at Borussia Dortmund, says he is happy in Germany but insists that any discussions about his future should be left to the two clubs involved.

Antonio Conte decided to let the Belgian international go out on loan in January and he has made an instant impact in Dortmund, scoring seven goals in nine games.

The Bundesliga side would be thrilled to keep Batshuayi on a permanent deal but his performances have been so good that his price tag could continue to rise, thus pricing them out of a move.

As reported by journalist Kristof Terreur, when asked about the possibility of signing a permanent deal with Borussia Dortmund, Batshuayi said:

Batshuayi keen to extend stay at Dortmund

Batshuayi keen to extend stay at Dortmund Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi who is currently on loan at Borussia Dortmund in Germany as admitted that he would be keen to extend his move to the Bundesliga beyond the current season according to Sport Witness. He scored five goals in his first three games which led to talk that the player will extend his stay at the club following the conclusion of the current loan deal. The Belgian continued his goalscoring run at the weekend as he netted twice in his sides 3-2 to win over Frankfurt whilst also claiming the man of the match award after coming on as a sub. The striker seems much more content at the German club being afforded many more opportunities in the team than that were on offer at Chelsea earlier in the season. Fellow teammate Marco Reus has highlighted his desire for tBelgiangan to remain at the club beyond his current loan contract. The striker spoke about his current situation and how he feels about it: “I feel very good here, but that’s a matter between Dortmund and Chelsea.” That’s a sure hint he’d be up for a move, which would only be further underlined if Chelsea don’t envisage a key role for him next season. Nothing is yet to be confirmed with the talks between the two parties set to be left until the conclusion of the season whilst Chelsea assess their options.

Chelsea signed Oliver Giroud in January and could be in the market for a striker in the summer too, so there is every chance that they could sell Batshuayi in the summer, so they’ll hope he continues his good form so that they can ask for a large transfer fee.

Batshuayi admits his confidence has been restored .
Borussia Dortmund loanee Michy Batshuayi has admitted that he has had his confidence boosted since moving to Germany following a tough spell at Chelsea as reported by Sky Sports. He has performed brilliantly since his move to Germany on deadline day scoring 8 times in just 11 appearances in all competitions. With his parent club Chelsea signing former Arsenal man Olivier Giroud in January it seems likely that the Belgium striker will make his move permanent to the German club come the end of the season. Chances were very few and far between for the 24-year-old under Antonio Conte at Chelsea and he had to get a move away to boost his chances of featuring at the World Cup this summer. He has hit the league like a storm and has shown some top performances of late which put him in a great shape for the rest of the season. “The forward has been speaking about the situation:” ““Don’t ask me about my future”” ““I had a difficult time, and it’s good to be back on track.”” “So what has changed? What has the move to Dortmund done for him? His reply seems to say quite a lot about his treatment at Chelsea.” ““I was very well received by Dortmund, by the whole club. I felt a lot of love, a footballer is stronger when he has confidence,”” He continued and went onto add: ““I didn’t expect to find my efficiency so quickly. This is the real Michy, but I still want more.” ““The fans are unbelievable and the stadium is beautiful. I really never expected to settle so quickly.
