Corinthians line up summer move for Salomon Rondon

Corinthians line up summer move for Salomon Rondon Brazilian side Corinthians are eyeing up a summer move for West Brom striker Salomon Rondon, according to a report in Mercado da Bola. It was revealed last week that Rondon has a £16.5m release clause in his contract that can be triggered if Albion are relegated and with it looking all but impossible for the Baggies to escape the drop, it seems like Rondon’s time at the club is coming to an end. Since joining West Brom from Zenit St Petersburg for £12million back in 2015, Rondon has scored 23 goals in 103 Premier League games. The Venezuelan has had a mixed time at things at Albion. Sometimes, he’s looked like a world beater but on other occasions he’s been very poor and has left the fans feeling very frustrated. Liverpool are reportedly eyeing a move for the 28-year-old as they look for a suitable back-up to Roberto Firmino, but they’ll now face competition for his signature from Corinthians.

West Ham are interested in signing the Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes this summer . The Portuguese international is frustrated with the lack of regular first team action at Camp Nou and he has been linked with a move away.

Gomes arrived at Camp Nou in 2016 from fellow La Liga side Valencia for a fee of around £33.3 million. However, after spending two seasons at Barcelona, Gomes has failed to impress. So far West Ham have added seven players to their squad this summer .

West Ham are interested in signing Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes in the summer.

According to The Mirror, West Ham and Tottenham are both keen on snapping up the central midfielder when the transfer window reopens in a few months time.

Gomes is expected to head to the World Cup in Russia this summer with Portugal, where he could attract more interest if he is able to impress.

West Ham were touted with interest in Gomes during the January window, but signed Joao Mario on loan from Inter Milan instead.

Gomes has struggled to make his mark on the first-team at Barcelona and is open to a move to the Premier League.

Domingos Quina on AC Milan's radar

Domingos Quina on AC Milan's radar West Ham’s academy starlet Domingos Quina could leave the club this summer with Italian side AC Milan planning a move for him. Quina’s contract expires in summer 2019 and HITC report that Milan are the favourites to get his signature. The Italian side appear to have rejuvenated their season under Genaro Gattuso, with the side now in the Serie A’s top six. The Portugal U19 star, who is yet to make his Premier League debut, has been displaying his abilities in his academy perfomances and a move for Quina could spark his professional career. Academy director Terry Westley once claimed that Domingos is one of the most gifted young talents in Europe. Quina scored a 40-yard wondergoal against Leicester and after the game, Westley told the club website: “He is that good. He has got star quality.” The Mirror says that Quina has also attracted other Premier League outfits and West Ham would be willing to listen to offers. West Ham are keen to rebuild their squad this summer and may have to consider cashing in some of their gifted young talents. Ajax are also reportedly showing interest in the Quina and a move to the Dutch side could also be tempting for the academy star.

The 24-year-old has played 28 games for Barcelona this season in all competitions, after 47 appearances last season.

He has been capped 29 times by his country and was a key part of their European Championships success in 2016.

There is no mention of how much Barcelona would want for the Portuguese international.

Newcastle line up summer move for French forward .
Newcastle United are lining up a summer move for Nice forward Alassane Plea, according to reports. The 25-year-old joined Nice from Lyon back in 2014, and has gone on to score 41 goals in 130 games for the French club. Newcastle are clearly in the market for a striker this summer as scoring goals has been a big issue for Rafa Benitez’s side, so targeting a player who scores at a ratio of close to one goal every three games certainly makes sense. The asking price for the forward is said to be £15m, which seems reasonable but we’ve seen in the recent past that funds aren’t always readily available for Benitez to bring in players. Burnley and Everton are also interested in the former France U21 star, but Newcastle would likely have a good chance of getting him if they do decide to make a move.
