With Champions League advancement dominating the week, Liverpool refocused on the league and ensured that Bournemouth received an inhospitable visit to Merseyside. The Reds retained their rhythm and relentlessness dispatching the Cherries 3-0 at Anfield.

There was no relaxation with the Reds still needing to secure their top four credentials, despite the European semi-final that awaits just 10 days away. Bournemouth has been a bit of a bogey team in recent years but no one would have known. Liverpool dominated from the start and made it count.

Salah is going to claim all three goals – Henderson mocks Kane in Golden Boot race Harry Kane's successful attempt to claim a controversial goal last week caught the attention of Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson.Jordan Henderson poked fun at Harry Kane as he joked that Mohamed Salah would claim all three Liverpool goals in their Premier League win against Bournemouth.

An early goal from Sadio Mané made sure that Bournemouth knew what kind of afternoon it would be. For the seventh time this season all three front men scored as the Reds ran rampant.

After the break, Mo Salah would garner his 40th finish of the campaign. Even on a day when he may not have been at his finest, the Egyptian looped a header home. It was his 30th in the league and he looks all but certain to land the golden boot in what has to be the greatest debut season by some distance. He continues to put himself in rare company. He joins only Liverpool legend Roger Hunt and Ian Rush as the only Reds to eclipse 40. Plus, he is the first Premier League player to reach 40 goals in all competitions in 10 years.

To add to the festivities Roberto Firmino finished one in the dying minutes his 15th in the league and 25th in all competitions. The Brazilian’s brilliant season has only been overshadowed by his wingman on the right. Best of all, this goal recommenced the kung-fu kick celebrations.

Here are four findings from the match.

Liverpool Team News: West Brom (A) .
Liverpool are looking to put to bed any worries about missing out on a top four finish when they play West Bromwich Albion on Saturday afternoon. Both teams go into this game fresh off victories, and a win for Jurgen Klopp’s men will pretty much end any worries of Chelsea catching them, and could even put the pressure on second-placed Man United The Baggies also know that win will boost their slim hopes of securing their Premier League status for next season. West Brom have already beaten the Reds this season, winning their FA Cup meeting at Anfield, 3-2. The first league meeting which was also at Anfield, ended in a goalless draw. The Reds will go into this game looking to avenge that loss in the last meeting and also build their momentum in preparations for the first leg meeting with AS Roma at Anfield, on Tuesday. Team news The return of defender Joe Gomez has boosted Klopp’s ability to rotate at the back. Dejan Lovren’s withdrawal in the 3-0 home win against Bournemouth over the weekend, is believed to be a precaution and he trained as normal on Thursday. However, Nathaniel Clyne won’t feature at the Hawthorns after picking up an injury. The Reds will also be without long-term absentees Emre Can, Adam Lallana and Joel Matip.
