Allegri wants Chelsea to sign three Juventus players if he takes the job

Allegri wants Chelsea to sign three Juventus players if he takes the job Massimiliano Allegri will tell Chelsea officials to sign three current Juventus players if he takes over from Antonio Conte as the club’s manager this summer, according to reports in Italy. Allegri has already confirmed that he will leaving Juventus in the summer to seek a job in another European country and all signs are pointing to him taking over at Stamford Bridge as Conte’s position is looking untenable after his disputes with the board regarding the club’s transfer policy. The Juve boss, if hired by Chelsea, will reportedly ask the club to sign three of his current squad members – midfielders Rodrigo Bentancur and Miralem Pjanic and winger Federico Bernardeschi. Allegri will also, according to reports, look to bring David Luis back in from the cold and look to build the side around the abilities of Spaniard Cesc Fabregas, who’s become somewhat of a forgotten man at Chelsea in recent weeks.

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has responded to speculation linking him with a move to the Premier League by insisting that he is ‘happy’ and in ‘harmony’ with the Italian club.

The 50-year-old is one of the most highly rated coaches in Europe and is on the verge of guiding his side to their seventh straight Serie A league title.

The speculation comes after reports that Chelsea are looking for a new manager and monitoring Allegri, with Antonio Conte almost certain to leave the club at the end of the season.

Conte has had a difficult season this time around and has seen his side fall out of the top four after a poor run of games.

Conte urges Chelsea to keep fighting

Conte urges Chelsea to keep fighting Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has issued a rallying cry to his players ahead of their clash with West Ham. It’s been a difficult season for the Blues, with Conte’s men sat in fifth place on the Premier League table and unlikely to challenge Tottenham Hotspur for their place in the top four. Chelsea have endured some testing times this season but their manager has called on the players to show the fighting spirit required to succeed. As quoted by the club’s official website, Conte demanded that his players refuse to give up in the run-in towards the end of the season. “They must work, continue to work, and try to put everything in every day to help change the situation. The players play the game, not the coach. The coach can prepare, but then the players go on the pitch to fight with the right desire and pride and will to win the game.” The former Italy manager’s future is under intense scrutiny at this stage, with the likes of Massimiliano Allegri and Luis Enrique linked with moves to become the next Chelsea manager. However, Conte is clearly focusing his attention towards the task at hand and is looking to help Chelsea to a positive end to the season. “We are Chelsea, and when you play or you are a coach for this type of club, you must show great pride until the end and don’t give up. Don’t give up. It’s my philosophy. I don’t want to see one person giving up.

The Blues however, came back from 2-0 down to beat Southampton 3-2 at the weekend, ending a run of two games without a win and bosting their faint hopes of clinching a Champions League spot next season.

However, the Premier :eague club may struggle to get Allegri’s signature, after his response to the speculation. He said:

“I have a contract until 2020 and I am happy here. I am in harmony with the club, I go on vacation when the transfer window opens because I trust the club completely.”

Allegri also said:

“We will still need to meet some objectives. If we don’t win the Scudetto or the Coppa Italia, they might not still want me. We will talk it over like we do every year.”

Rodgers and Benitez not serious contenders for Arsenal job .
According to HITC, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers and Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez are not serious contenders to take the Arsenal managerial job upon Arsene Wenger’s departure. Many managers have been touted for the Arsenal job after the club confirmed that Wenger would leave at the end of the season, after 22 years of service in North London. Rodgers was one of the main men linked to take over prior to the 2018/19 season at the Emirates, but these reports have quashed those rumours. Benitez had been more of an idea than a linked candidate, but the former Liverpool and Chelsea manager has also been ruled out of the job. Massimiliano Allegri, Carlo Ancelotti, Luis Enrique and former midfielder and Manchester City coach Mikel Arteta, have all been associated with becoming the Frenchman’s successor. No matter who comes in, there will be a huge amount of pressure as they attempt to fill a very large pair of shoes.
