Jansson reportedly keen on Premier League switch amid West Ham links

Jansson reportedly keen on Premier League switch amid West Ham links According to reports from Sweden, Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson wants to play his football in the Premier League next season, amid links with West Ham. The powerful central defender is a key part of the Leeds team but it seems he has his eyes firmly set on a move to the English top flight, if reports from his homeland are to be believed. It’s been reported recently by the Guardian’s Ed Aarons that Jansson is a target for West Ham in the summer, with David Moyes’ side lacking depth in central defence. Twitter: West Ham are interested in signing Sweden defender Pontus Jansson from Leeds in the summer (@ed_aarons) Jose Fonte’s departure in January has left a void to fill for the Hammers in the summer, with their defensive weaknesses having been well documented throughout the course of the campaign. Jansson has often been linked with a move to the Premier League and with West Ham apparently keen, it seems his future at Elland Road is somewhat uncertain ahead of the summer.

According to the Daily Star, Marco Asensio has given Real Madrid a list of demands in order for him to stay and not move to Chelsea, who are heavily interested.

Asensio had an amazing pre-season and also played great during the beginning of this season, but he is now a bit-part-player at Los Blancos.

Despite this, he is still one of the brightest young talents in the world which is why Chelsea are heavily interested, especially after the disappointment of the signing of Ross Barkley.

Despite not playing much, Real Madrid will still want to keep the youngster and he is going to use Chelsea’s interest to persuade Real to keep him at the club but to be treated much better.

Massimiliano Allegri responds to Chelsea links

Massimiliano Allegri responds to Chelsea links Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has responded to speculation linking him with a move to the Premier League by insisting that he is ‘happy’ and in ‘harmony’ with the Italian club. The 50-year-old is one of the most highly rated coaches in Europe and is on the verge of guiding his side to their seventh straight Serie A league title. The speculation comes after reports that Chelsea are looking for a new manager and monitoring Allegri, with Antonio Conte almost certain to leave the club at the end of the season. Conte has had a difficult season this time around and has seen his side fall out of the top four after a poor run of games. The Blues however, came back from 2-0 down to beat Southampton 3-2 at the weekend, ending a run of two games without a win and bosting their faint hopes of clinching a Champions League spot next season. However, the Premier :eague club may struggle to get Allegri’s signature, after his response to the speculation. He said: “I have a contract until 2020 and I am happy here. I am in harmony with the club, I go on vacation when the transfer window opens because I trust the club completely.” Allegri also said: “We will still need to meet some objectives. If we don’t win the Scudetto or the Coppa Italia, they might not still want me. We will talk it over like we do every year.

Asensio is demanding Real Madrid to not sign any other players in his position, with the likes of Isco and James Rodriguez, who could be recalled a year early from his loan at Bayern Munich if Zinedine Zidane is sacked, who are already competing with Asensio.

He is also demanding a huge pay rise.
