Fiorentina linked with a move for Manolo Gabbiadini

Fiorentina linked with a move for Manolo Gabbiadini Fiorentina have reportedly joined the race to sign Southampton striker Manolo Gabbiadini this summer. According to claims from Italy, the Serie A side are long-term admirers of the Saints forward and a fresh summer pursuit could well be on the cards, with Gabbiadini likely to leave England in the coming months. Despite getting his Southampton career off to a blistering start, Gabbiadini has struggled to maintain consistency and confidence with him being limited to a sporadic role under Mauricio Pellegrino and Mark Hughes respectively this season. Gabbiadini has been heavily linked with a move back to his homeland of Italy this summer and irrespective of whether or not Southampton remain in the Premier League this term, a summer exit seems to be on the cards. The likes of Lazio and Bologna have already been touted with summer moves for Gabbiadini, but they will now seemingly face competition from Fiorentina as they aim to bolster their attacking options.

Crystal Palace are interested in signing Anderlecht midfielder Leander Dendoncker in the summer, according to reports. Dendoncker has been a key player for Anderlecht since breaking into the side as a teenager and has already made a century of league appearances for the club at the age of

Palace will undoubtedly be hoping that the allure of Premier League football along with financial power will dissuade Dendoncker from the prospect of playing for Fiorentina.

The London club are safe in the top flight now and can now prepare themselves ahead of next season, with Dendoncker likely to be a target once again.

Fiorentina will not need to sell Federico Chiesa this summer .
Fiorentina general manager Pantaleo Corvino has told Chelsea, Tottenham and AC Milan that Federico Chiesa will not leave the club this summer. Speaking to Sky Sports Italia, as reported by Calcio Mercato, the Fiorentina chief confirmed that the club do not need to sell the player. Chiesa is in-demand and there had been some concerns that La Viola would need to sell this summer because of financial implications, but Corvino says that is not the case. “Chiesa? We are in a position where we can resist any temptation to sell.” The 20-year-old is one of the hottest prospects in Italian football and has netted six times for Fiorentina this season. Chiesa, son of former Italian international Enrico Chiesa has attracted plenty of Premier League interest in the past, while AC Milan are also interested in the player. Milan could face the prospect of losing Suso this summer and Chiesa could be seen as a replacement for the Spaniard.
